Our 2017 Miss / Mr. Suwanee Pageant Judges panel are comprised of some of the most impressive individuals in their fields from Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Michelle Allen- Parker

Professional Marketing Consultant

Michelle Allen-Parker has a passion for pageants having been on the stage, behind the stage, judging, giving personalized training or just relaxing and following the pageant circuit as a fan for over two decades. A native of Toledo, Ohio, she has called Nashville, TN home since 1994. Michelle is a professional marketing consultant currently with WKRN News 2 in Nashville, and has a background in the media world for over 20 years who takes pride in collaborating with companies with the goal of making them more visible and thus more successful. 

An avid runner, she participates in several charity sponsored races a year and takes personal pride in being an advocate for the annual Rock N Roll Music City Marathon. 

She spends her free time shamelessly enjoying reality television, shopping, and eclectic restaurants with Christopher, her husband of 15 years.

Sabrina Pinion

Mrs. UNIVERSE 2014 &
Executive Director ~ Ms. & Mrs. Hemisphere

Having held several local, state and national titles in her pageant career, the culmination was capturing the “Mrs. Universe 2014“ title in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, becoming the first woman from the United States to win the coveted title.

Sabrina is the Executive director of the “Mrs.& Ms. Hemisphere US” Pageant and the International “Mrs. /Ms. Hemisphere” Pageant, which will be held in Georgia next May.

And the owner of “Pageant Pros LLC Coaching”

Most recently Sabrina founded “The Pledge” Campaign against Domestic Violence, which includes “Her Pledge” and “Kids Pledge”.

Nova Kopp

Ms. International 2017 &
Director of Learning Services AT&T Business Solutions

Nova Kopp brings more than 17 years in the telecommunications and technology industries. As a Director of Training, she is currently responsible for training for indirect and direct sales for AT&T. Well-versed in the public side of the industry through her sales and marketing experience, Nova's knowledge of technological applications is equally impressive.

In 2015, Nova was crowned Mrs. Georgia United States. In 2016, She was crowned Ms. Georgia and won Ms. International 2016/ 2017.

Nova believes in always delivering your best self and is committed to helping others realize that it’s never too late to become the person of their dreams. 

Nova is passionate about communiy involvement and helping others in need. She has served on the Board of Directors of several organizations, including: Hillside, Inc., CCYS Inc, Independance High School, Community Service Center of Central Florida and Devereux to name a few.
Nova holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Masters Degree in Business Management from Kennesaw College. She was selected by the MBA faculty for the University’s highest award, “Class Scholar.” She now coaches MBA students. Her certifications include Six Sigma Green Belt and Managerial Coaching.

The proud mother of three children, Lauren, Alexis and Christopher, and grandmother of Ava and Isabella, Nova lives in Roswell, Georgia with her husband, Mark.

Mark Kopp

Business Community Planning Executive Coca~Cola 

Thirty plus years of management experience in consumer goods industry encompassing various roles in Supply Chain (PTP), Planning, Logistics (FTD) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) / Business Continuity Planning (BCP). Current role in Global Supply Chain and Business Community Planning for The Coca-Cola Company (since 2002).  
He is an experienced pageant and talent judge who enjoys world travelling.  He and his wife Nova are very involved in their church and Mark is a High School bible study leader. He has two daughters, 1 son and 2 grand daughters.  As an avid fitness enthusiast and community volunteer he is a big supporter of the YWCA (Domestic Violence Shelter). He resides in Roswell, GA.

LaCrisha Saba

Director of Marketing
LaCrisha Saba is a graduate of the University of West Georgia, where she obtained her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management 
LaCrisha is an advocate for volunteerism and participates regularly at various community service events. She believes that if you help others and give back to your community, you will discover that while public service improves the lives of those around you; its greatest gift is the enrichment it brings into your own life.
This belief was the driving force behind her dedication to bringing her "With Love" non-profit organization to life. Love meaning Let Our Voices Echo.
In her free time, LaCrisha enjoys working out, traveling the world, baking, and spoiling her niece and nephew.
LaCrisha and her husband Joseph reside in Jonesboro, Georgia with their yorkie,

Lisa Hedin
2017 MSP Lead Judge

Ms. North Carolina America 2015 & National Kidney Foundation Spokesperson 

Lisa is a registered nurse who has spent most of her adult life dedicated to helping dialysis patients. When Lisa was in nursing school her father came down with kidney disease and Lisa became fascinated to learn more. Today she is a senior clinical educator for a major medical manufacturing company that specializes in kidney dialysis products.

Lisa is from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and relocated to Charlotte North Carolina in 2007. When in Pittsburgh, Lisa played an active role with education and gala planning with the National Kidney Foundation, Alleghenies.

In 2015 Lisa won the Ms. North Carolina America title. Since Lisa was crowned Ms. North Carolina America 2015, she aligned with the National Kidney Foundation, Carolinas and planned to use her “crown for a purpose”. Lisa traveled all over the state of North Carolina increasing awareness and fundraising efforts to contribute for more research. She made several media appearances to raise awareness and educate the public that 1:3 people are at risk for kidney disease.

Lisa traveled to Los Angeles in August of 2015 and competed in the Ms. America competition. Lisa did not win the Ms. America crown but was awarded for her efforts with the National Kidney Foundation. She won the “Woman of Distinction” award. Lisa was chosen because she best personified the intelligence, beauty & humanitarian efforts of what today’s woman represents and the mission of the Ms. America pageant. The Ms. America pageant organization honored Lisa for her efforts to improve the lives of others and she successfully represented the American woman.

Lisa resides in Charlotte with her 11 year old son. When not traveling for work, she enjoys going to gym, spending time with friends and rooting on her favorite football teams—The Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers.

Steve Edwards
2017 Honorary VIP Judge

Mayor - City of Sugar Hill, GA

Mayor Steve Edwards was first elected to the Sugar Hill City Council in 2003 and served for over ten years before being elected Mayor in November 2014. Steve and his family have been Sugar Hill residents for over sixteen years.

He was born in Winter Park, Florida and attended Valdosta State University where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice as well as Master of Public Administration. He and his wife, Denise, have been married for 27 years and have two adult children, Abby and Ryan who attend Valdosta State University as well.

Mayor Edwards is a graduate of the 2005 Class of Leadership Gwinnett and served as President of the Gwinnett Municipal Association in 2013 and also is a district officer for the Georgia Municipal Association. He also served as a board member on the Gwinnett County Transit Authority and the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Board. He has been committed to public education for many years and is an active member in both the Lanier and North Gwinnett school clusters. Connecting city hall to the seven Gwinnett County public schools located in the city is a daily priority of Mayor Edwards.

Steve is an active member of Sugar Hill Church, is heavily involved in the community and truly loves Sugar Hill. He has been aptly described as the most approachable, yet most focused mayor in Georgia. He truly represents the heart and soul of our city. Under his leadership, the city has started to transform from a sleepy town into a destination city. He fully embraces the exciting growth and development and is extremely proud of the dynamic live, work, play community that Sugar Hill is becoming known for while maintaining its long-held commitment to family and community.

He proudly embraces the Sugar Hill moto of “Go Big or Go Home”.

Onica (Nic) Blaize

Mrs. Georgia America 2016

& Owner ~  Nic B Cosmetics

Nic is currently the reigning Mrs. Georgia America 2016 and placed top 6 at Mrs. America. She is an advocate for children that have been negatively affected by the foster care system. She is the co-founder of Dorothy’s House, a non-profit organization that was co-founded with her daughter Ariana that will be a safe haven for children that are about to age out of the foster care system. They are currently awaiting the approval of their 501-
(c)3. Nic has raised over $25,000 for foster care children throughout
Georgia through fundraising and advocacy work. Nic is a certified Life Coach and holds a Masters degree in social and behavioral science. She is the owner and spokeswoman for Nic B Cosmetics
an Atlanta based Cosmetics Company specializing in beauty products made for all woman. When not wearing her fashion hat, Nic works as a Public
Health Advisor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In this role she serves as the principal Project Officer supporting emergency preparedness and managing a budget of $1.9M. She has received several awards for exemplarily service in public health for her continued role in emergency preparedness. She was recently honored by City Hall with a proclamation for her dedication to children in foster care.
Nic has been with her husband Brian for over 20 years, and they have 3 children, Ariana, Dylan and Madison.

Katie Holmes
2017 MSP Judges Coordinator

Mrs. Georgia American Spirit 2017 Educator

Katie is a graduate of Fort Hays University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  Katie has appeared on several TV news stations in Wichita, KS and Colorado Springs, CO as a news and weather anchor, after which she ventured into sales and marketing.  She currently is working at the Annunciation Day School in Atlanta, GA as an assistant teacher.
Katie is no stranger to the world of pageants.  She participated in and was named a top 10 finalist in the Miss Kansas Pageant.  She is an honorary member of the United States Senatorial Trust and was a member of the National Steering Committee for "W. Stands for Women". She is also a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and has held many leadership positions during her tenure.  She is an avid runner and recently competed in her first 10 K.  Katie is the reigning Mrs. Georgia American Spirit.
