Arielle Urquhart

Arielle is a bright and inquisitive 5 year old, talented girl who is serving as your 2017 Little Miss Suwanee. She enjoys learning new things, story time, nature, the outdoors and animals. She also loves meeting new people and can make friends with just about anyone.  She is friendly, loving and caring. Arielle has recently lost her great- grandmother to a hard fought battle with colon cancer, and is looking forward to volunteering in hopes of raising awareness.   An interesting fact about Arielle is that she has a great memory, and can often learn things very quickly the first or second time hearing something. In her spare time, Arielle enjoys gymnastics, singing, participating in pageants and drawing

Kierstin Rawls

kiersten, 2017 Jr. Miss Suwanee, is creative, caring and enjoys music.  She sings in two choirs and is a member of Jr. Tri-M, a music honor society with a leadership focus and service mission.  Kierstin also enjoys playing volleyball, reading and art.  Her favorite subject is science.  She likes travelling and has been to 32 states and four foreign countries.

Her favorite part of the Miss & Mr. Suwanee Pageant is knowing she is supporting cancer research.  Since nine of her family members have been affected by cancer, it is important to kierstin to help find a cure.

Retired from Federal Government March 30, 2005 - 52 Years of Total work service.
April 2005  - Spent time with family for Retirement Celebration.
2006 - 2016  enjoyed time not having to get up and in traffic at 0700 A.M.
I started  getting involved with organizations that was meaningful to me by giving back some of my time.  This was a continuation of what I was doing through high school, volunteer service.
In 2008, I organized a cancer walk group for the Seniors at Huntington Court Senior Residence, where we donated money and walked the complex for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.  We are now in our 10th year of operation.
Next, a Representative from AARP was in our building to teach a safe driving class and was looking for volunteers to teach.

2010 - Present  - Member of Gwinnett Multicultural Advisory      Committee
2010 - Present  Crowned Miss Suwanee Classic -Relay for Life   Involved with this agenda that took us from 
 Visiting Assistant Living Homes to the Governor's  Office.  We are connected with Annadale Village,  Toys for Tots, Operation Christmas Child,   Mending The  Gap, Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, The Georgia Summer and Winter Special  Olympics and so many more of organizations like these so worthy of everyone's  help.
In 2011, I was crowned as Miss Suwanee Lifetime Ambassador.  I usually, I dedicate at between 500 - 1,000 hours a  year to the organizations above and any others that need my help.
I have received several accolades from all of the organizations listed above with the last two from  AARP Volunteer of the month for 2017.
